Martha seems to find this her fav position so my mw said if she's still transverse in a few weeks we'll have another scan to confirm how she's lying - anyone's baby change to another position after this point in pg? She is very very active and spins a lot but always goes back to transverse :flower:

My baby was transvered at my 28 week scan too, and now he is head down :) Your LO has plenty of time to find her spot head down, and by the time she finds it she'll be too big to move about :)

Hey,

Just wondering if your baby is still in transverse? I'm 28 weeks tomorrow and mine is too. He's lying with his head on the left and his feet on the right and his bum down low like he is in a hammock. xx

My LO was transverse at my 28 weeks MW appointment and I was measuring small as well. I had a 4D growth scan a week later as I was worried and she was head down, so don't worry.x

My LO was and was head down by 36 weeks x

both mine were transverse at 28 weeks but both are now head down at 32 weeks.

my baby is still traverse...hope he moves soon!

Mine was transverse til about 35 weeks but has been head down ever since.

my son is transverse to, plenty time for him to move head down but i cant help panic that he wont.

Thanks everyone :) I can't seem to stop worrying about things, I seem to move from one thing to the next. I'm 28 weeks tomorrow and still haven't felt any movement higher than belly button! Anyone else the same? Keep reading about people getting kicks in the ribs and it worries me :( x

she seems to have gone breech with feet first :) so a little bit better than transverse :) my midwife says lets check again at 34 weeks then if she seems breech still at 36 Ill get scanned and book an elective in

I suppose she is turning - just the long way round :) Im now getting movement above and below my belly button

fingers crossed they will all turn nicely by themselves

wow boo boo your twins are doing well safe and sound at 32 weeks! my friend just had hers at 24 weeks - yikes - theyre doing ok tho thank goodness!

she probably will turn again but at least you have a plan if not. i think who cares how they get here as long as they do!

glad to hear you friends twins are ok at 24 weeks. how worrying. don't think mine will want to stay in for too much longer!

Plenty of room to move still! I was breech until 38 weeks with my first and she turned naturally. This one was head down last week, tranverse today! Lol
lots of ball bouncing helps!

Itrs funny how much things vary area by area- our LO was transverse upto 35 weeks. The midwives didnt seem slightly concerned at all, in fact at 28 weeks they just said it didnt really matter what position she was in as they still move around so much at that point. She turned just before our 36 week appointment and is now 2/5tths engaged, so dont worry too much! Try spinning babies website (sure someone else will have mentioned that already). I did some bouncing and also stretching right out just before the 36 week appointment, so maybe that helped?

Woops!-just seen its an old post! Fingers xd she turns all the way down for u xx

My brother was transverse lie at 40weeks and ended up having to be dragged out by C-section!!

Having said that I think most babies turn by themselves or are turned by midwives before you get to delivery. Have you tried a birthing ball? Having a bit of a bounce can help them get into the right position?

:hugs:

Transverse also HURTS. Did/does it hurt anyone else? When i get braxton hicks my bump goes into a weird square shape around his body and boy does that hurt! Hope he turns soon!

i had a 28 week growth scan yesterday and my LO was oblique? so although head facing down, he's sort of lying diagonally! which explains why ive felt movements moreon the top left (my left) of my belly button lol. hopefully he'll fully move around soon enough. ive been told its nothing to worry about however they are lying at this stage x

LO was head down at 28 weeks, but at the last appointment (30 weeks) was transverse again. This seems to be lo's preferred way! The mw said they dont worry about it until 36 weeks, plan is to start using the spinning babies website then.

Yep mine was and I got sent in for a scan and their awkward position meant they were measuring 3wks small as well. I've just had my 34wk midwife appointment and she says the head is down at the moment - not engaged or partially engaged, but at least it reassured me it has the potential to get in the right position! Try not to worry - I spent weeks with it on the back of my mind, and wish I hadn't known now!

I'm pretty sure I can pinpoint the day it turned - last Monday! I suddenly felt a lot more heavy on my bladder and cervix - took me back to the late stages with our DS! My bump has changed shape since then too!

My LO was transverse until my 34th week. Don't worry, theres plenty of time :hugs:
