Anyone else's lo on SMA LF?

I feel like i'm the only mummy in the world that has a babba one SMA LF.
The HV even called him a poorly baby the other day....
He's not poorly he just has a different immune system to others.
He's also on Infant Gaviscon as he projectile's his milk alot, even with the Gaviscon it still happens.

Anyone else out there in the same boat?

im glad i found this post, my little man has been on sma gold and is 7 weeks old, he has been sick alot for about a week and half we went to doctors and was told he could have a lose valve or somthing along them line and come back in a week and if he still doing it to be put on gaviscon,

went and had him weighed today and health visitor said he has exma (spelt that wrong) caused by milk intolarance and to put him on sma LF so i got a can to try and he had one bottle at 6 but was still sick so just going to keep trying him, any advice would be much apreciated thanks tracy x

Keep going with the lf, you will notice a differnce.
As for the sickness my lo seems to be constantly sick. He's gaining weight so not too much of a problem just ot nice for me!
Is he gaining weight ok? Does he seem like he's in pain when he's sick?

My Nephew was on SMA LF until he was six months. Lots of babies have Lactose Intolerance and grow out of it really quickly, my Sister was able to put him on SMA follow on milk at 6 months with no problems at all. He's 1 now and drinking cows milk like there is no tomorrow, lol. Just ignore the HV saying he's a poorly baby

Ethan takes Gaviscon for his reflux, when he was younger it didn't stop the sick to be honest, it's only now he a little bigger that is calming down alot

We start on it tomorrow as the HV has prescribed it after almost 6 weeks of the most horrific colic. Ive just posted a thread about having to change from EBFing to bottle over on the breastfeeding section. I'm praying it helps.

harry is still gaining weigh nicely, and he doesnt seem to be in pain, we went to the doctors today and now got it on prescription as he seems so much better on sma lf,he has only been sick a little,

does it only come in small tins ???

Unfortunatly that's the only size tin! It's rubbish we get through nearly 3 a week. Make sure you get it on repeat prescription otherwise you'll be at the drs all the time
