Ok so I posted in ttw with no responses yet. So I thought I'd ask here.

So here's my story. My DH and I started ttc in August last year. I stared using clear blue advanced opks in October 2013. Blood tests in November day 5 and 27 normal.

Then in December 2013 we got our BFP. Sadly I mc'd just before Xmas.

I then ovulated earlier than usual exactly 2 weeks post mc. After this my system seemed to go haywire, high fertility on opk but no peaks. I had a 21 day blood test in March/April, result high lh no fsh; I'm wasnt ovulating, scans then showed pcos. Odd as I show no signs bar difficult weight loss.

I saw the specialist in May, he prescribed metformin and booked me in for ovarian drilling, repeat treatment for endermitriosis and cervical dilation due to severe stenosis caused by loop treatment.

So I had this on 24th July, day 3 of my cycle. Now I'm confused. I'm usually a 31/32 day cycle ovulating when I did on day 17/18, with only 1-2 days of fert cm. Post op this month I ovulated on day 12/13 according to opks, I've continued testing since all neg but had continued ewcm. So that would make me 6dpo I've got spots which I don't normally have, huge bb's and cramps. I'm also up and own

I just don't know what's going on. I know everyone's different but I'm so fed up, it's been over a year. I would have been due next week and I'm driving myself nuts in this Tww.

Is my body just playing games and settling or could I be pg??

Anyone else got pg before have a full cycle post ovarian drilling without meds?

Help please

Hi Daisy

I'm so sorry to hear about your mc. There is an excellent thread on the success stories board, "Anyone get Pregnant after Ovarian Drilling". We have had lots of success stories, I am one of them :flower: I've been on the board since 2011 and there's a wealth of information on there from past success stories, ladies such as myself who stick around to answer questions and to help new ladies after their operations and you'll also meet other ladies who have recently had the op too - which is brilliant because it is a great source of support.
Yes, it's is possible to get a BFP the first month after the operation, but not very common. On the board we have ladies who got pregnant without meds in the first few months after the op, sometimes even on the first cycle, others like myself had to have extra help from meds but there are lots of positive stories to keep you focused and upbeat on your journey.
Your hormones will still be settling down after the op and that can take 3-4 months. For that reason, OPKs are not particularly reliable immediately after the op and many consultants want to allow this period of time to adjust before they will prescribe meds. The spots etc could also be due to the flush of hormones as your body adjusts to what has happened.
Regardless of the cycle date you *were* on when you had the operation, you should count the day of the op as CD1 as the operation resets everything.
Good luck for your cycle, please come over to the board and join us at this link:
