Anyone getting married abroard?

OH and i would like to get married abroard on a beach, with a few close members of family, and a few friends. Anyone else done/doing the same?

I was thinking of doing this, obviously after LO is born, but I was thinking Rhodes with just a few family members there

We got married in the Bahamas on the beach. It was perfect. We spent a week in one hotel, got married there & then moved to our 'honeymoon' hotel for a week. We only had a few family members there as it was expensive & our best man & maid of honor.

my cousin is getting married in Aruba next month. Hes having the wedding there with any family that wanted to go (had to pay for themselves) i think they are staying for a couple of weeks then when they get back they are having a big party for everyone.

My old school friend got married in Jamaica (sp?) and the pictures were beautiful!! They didnt take close family etc with them and it looked like such a sweet and intimate ceremony.

I'm all for it except I would want my family there...and my family is waaaay too big to cart half way across the world

We got married abroad in Jamaica, at Coupls Negril. It was amazing, despite the fact it rained throughout our photographs!

A few guests invited themselves, but stayed elsewhere and just cam einto our hotel for the day of the wedding.
