Anyone had/booking a 4d scan?

Just booked a 4d scan for when I'm 26 weeks. Really can't wait for it as time is dragging!

Have seen this baby in 3d/4d at 18 weeks, but will get a DVD and he will have grown lots!

Anyone else had a 4d scan or got one booked?

We will be booking one for 28-32 weeks... not sure when. I don't think I could wait until he is born to see his cute face. I think the scan are a great bonding experience!

Booked a private scan for next week, I'll be 16+3 the day of the scan. I'm hoping they will let me see it in 3D briefly and hoping to book a 4D for 28weeks

I'm booking one for when I'm between 27-28 weeks. So like 2 1/2 weeks from now! The ultrasound place said that's the best time because you can see adorable features and they haven't quite ran out of room! So excited!

I really want one just for gender reassurance as the sonogropher who did my 20 week scan sounded very unsure and pointed to something and said 'I think that's the penis' and it looked nothing like a penis! So i'm worrying about buying everything blue when baby could turn out to be a girl. But money is very tight with everything else we need to buy so I'm not sure if it's practical:/ i'm in a predicament! Enjoy yours though, very jealous! xxx

I am definitely booking one! My scan place recommended 30 weeks as the optimum time, so I guess it'll be then. Just a month and a half away?

I had a 4d silver package with my last pregnancy one at 26 and one at 28 I got lots of pictures and a dvd it cost me £120. I'm not planning on having one this pregnancy I don't think

Well just got back from my scan and i must admit i feel seriously let down, barely saw anything pics are terrible you cant make anything out and my nhs scan is so much clearer than the 2d today. I wasted £80 that could of gone on baby. I wouldn't have another if i was ever pregnant again.

We had ours this morning and it was lovely! She was smiling and yawning lots.. has beautiful pouty lips and long legs! She weighs 2lbs 4oz

Aww yours are lovely. Maybe i was just too early? Although i didn't get a weight estimate. Did you go with baby bond?

We were going to get one at about 28-30 weeks mainly as I wanted to check growth and confirm that it is a girl as sonographer was a little unsure but then I heard that if you have anterior placenta (which I do) then they weren't very good by this point as they have grown so much that the placenta can block them from view! I emailed one clinic who advised me to book as soon as possible to ensure a decent view but they don't have any appointments(!).
