Anyone had their follicles measured?!

Hey ladies,
So today I had an us to measure my follicles, I had 5 on one side and 3 or 4 on the other. There was a 10mm follicle which was the largest. She also saw some fluid on the left ovary which could mean ovulation has already happened. I've been temping and there's no clear temp shift. Had my first positive opk yesterday, still positive today. Im not sure what's going on. I have more bloodwork on cd23, all bloodwork on cd3 was perfect. She said once she gets the ultrasound results and I get the rest of the bloodwork we can make a plan on what were going to do. Maybe my follicles aren't maturing enough, so frustrating!!

What cd are you on? I really don't know much about maturation but I was on a clomid cycle with my last one and on cd 11 for me I had 2 follicles on my right that measured at 16.5 mm and 19.5 mm. I only had a couple of smaller follicles on the left side but not sure of those measurements. I'm sorry your frustrated. Ttc is a very frustrating thing for any of us to go through. Just know that the ladies here are great and they are your biggest support group. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the reply!! I'm currently cd13, which seems to me like the follicles are too small for this stage of the game, I possibly could have ovulated already but my +opk was only yesterday and today and no temp rise to confirm

I had my follicles measured today too! Two at 10mm each on cd12. This is my first cycle on clomid so not sure what to expect. My cycles are usually 34-35 days with my PCOS so we are thinking maybe I will 'O' late. Cd13 is still early, hopefully you follie will grow!

It is frustrating, but try not to worry too much. Last cycle was my first on clomid 50mg. At cd 12 I had nothing worth measuring, and eventually ovulated in cd25. They told me to try 100mg next cycle, which I did, and had another cd 12 scan yesterday. I have two follicles, one at 15mm and one at 20mm. She said the 20mm cold go at any time, and if it waits a few days, the 15mm could catch up and go too. They should grow 1-2mm a day and ovulate between 18 and 22mm.

I would say from your chart you have not o'd yet, but that doesn't mean you won't.

Thanks ladies! I will most likely start clomid next month..my cycles are normally 26-28 days and I've ovulated as early as cd 11 and latest cd14 (which is today) no temp rise today either, I get my official results back from my doc regarding my ultrasound tomorrow, ill update y'all then!

24 hours later my US showed my two follies had a mega growth spurt and 3 new ones popped up! Literally happened overnight! I will hopefully 'O' tomorrow!

Hello ladies. I had an ultrasound on CD14 which showed one follie on my rt ovary at 10mm. I took a break from Clomid this month. One week later, little to know change. The very next day, I had tons of EWCM and my cervix was high, open, and soft. Dr doesn't think OV will happen this month. Well, today I had a very good temp jump. Could it be possible my follie grew that much in one day? We def didn't BD as DH and I weren't feeling it after the news from the appt.

Next cycle I go up to 100mg Clomid and follie checks on day 12 with possible HCG injections.

I read that the most follicles would grow in a day is 5mm and that's pretty rare. I don't think ff has my crosshairs correct either....it says I ovulated the day after my ultrasound which I also had a 10mm follicle. Not sure ovulation happened either this month. I believe my doctor will be putting me on something next cycle also!

Good luck to you Kesh. I have a feeling FF will be giving me crosshairs for yesterday although I don't see how it's possible. But if AF comes on her own without having to take Provera I will be very happy. That stuff makes my PMS HORRIBLE!!!
