Anyone had to insert misoprostol before IUD?

Did anyone have to insert misoprostol before having an IUD put in?

I'm worried I'm going to mess it up somehow.

I had the Mirena Coil but didn't have to insert anything... Don't think i could've! x

I have to put 2 tablets up there to prep my cervix?

I am worried I will screw this up!

We don't have to do that over here, to be honest though it prob would've help to prep my cervix... I'm sure you'll do it jsut fine... If you're worried though can you get your doctor to do it for you?
