Anyone have spotting since ovulation?

Just wondering if anyone has had similar experience. I have been spotting since right after ovulation and am now 8dpo. I went for bloodwork and ultrasound. They said everything was normal. My progesterone was only 6.9 which I thought was low but my nurse said it was ok. My linning is still thick as well. Any ideas?

Btw - I have endo and had lap done in november so its not polyps or anything..

Just saw your title.
I have spotting too usually from Ovulation until 1st cycleday. I don't know why I have it either but we do have something in common since I have endo too. Althought my progesterone blood levels are okay I still have made the experience that progesterone supplements help with the spotting. It stops it after 1-3 days. I am also looking into having a real check up of the uterus to see if something like a polyp etc could be the cause although I never heard of anyone having bleeding because of that...

Thanks Amber. That was the first time that had happened to me and I dont have polyps or anything just the endo..bit I did have alot of cysts that cycle from meds so who knows. Def lmk if you find out anything!

They were just leftover from last cycle because i was on injectable meds. They were gone by the next cycle

I too have the same exact spotting!! I do have a history of Endo, although my last lap showed everything looks perfect. My progesterone level on cd 21 was a 10 which is good my doctor said anyway, and an u/s showed my uterus is nice and thick. Maybe the spotting is just from the Endo? I have no idea, but it's sooooooo frustrating!!!

Hi Molly, my uterus is also nice and thick and and normal scans show no ploblems.

I think it is interesting that we all have endo. Maybe it is the simple answer although it does not really explain why we are spotting.

I agree with you on this one...maybe it's a hormonal thing I don't know? I think it's weird though and I don't understand how or why I would spot if there are no cysts currently...it's frustrating though!

Mr RE also told me that it probably wasn't from the cysts, but for some reason I just thought it was. Who knows but yes very interesting that we all have endo, it must have something to do with that

Hi, I'm a spotter too. There are lots of causes for spotting, hormonal imbalance, cervical erosion, polyps, fibroids, friable cervix and of course sometimes it's nothing and just normal for that person.

Studes have shown an 80% link between endo and pre menstrual spotting ie 80% of people who had spotting they also found endo with a lap. Similaly in reverse 80% of people who did not have spotting did not have endo. There's a pretty strong link.

Hi ladies,

Not sure if this thread is still active. I am also a chronic spotter and spot for 7 days before AF. My gp has prescribed progesterone to take from 6DPO. This cycle I have been spotting from ovulation and really worried. Just wondering if any of you ladies have got any answers yet.
