No but i have something like that , the same thing but it doesnt have the pad on it just a light up globe same look too. Im teaching different parts of the world to Carly and its great when it lights up so she can have a good look but a light up globe wouldnt be so fun with older kids

However Something like you have just shown would be brilliant for the kids! Its alot of money but they will learn so much out of it! Go for it!

It's actually $129.99 in Toys R Us here.

The only thing that's a downfall is the map where the drawer is is of the USA...wish it was for Canada.

However, with that said, they'd be able to understand about countries and the world.

Hmm, it's been in my head to get it for over a month and I just know I probably will.

Just hope it won't be one of those things that I think is so cool yet sits in a corner.

Seems silly that Toys R Us in Canada would carry it with an American map in the drawer lol. But I think it seems good!

Dan had something similar (not as fancy lol) He loved it, but Dan has always been a real Geography freak !!!! lol It taught him so much, he was always top of his class with geography and still is, I would go for it hun. It is alot of money but hopefully they will love it, wish I had kept Dans now, I gave it away a few years ago
