keep an eye on it hun if you have any bleeding at all get it checked out right away, also tell a doctor about your pains not to scare but this could be sign of ectopic pregnancy. best of luck though hun xxxx

I got them for ages, as long as there is no blood you will be fine :hugs:

I've read that it's the uterus clamping down on bubz to help it implant tight xx

Hey alisa, congrats on your BFP. I had AF-like cramps from when AF was due for the first week. Was just thinking yesterday that they have gone now so didn't last long - to be replaced with nausea. I think Tulip's right, its the uterus just getting used to the bean in the first few days and then it settles down. Try not to worry. xxx

Just wanted to thank you alisa for this thread and everyone for their replies. I'm 4 weeks at the moment and still having mild AF like pains on and off. You've put my mind at rest...a bit lol.

I didn't have any early on, but I had them from around 13 weeks all through second trimester. Later on it's just your uterus growing, so now it may be implantation cramping and some growth. Always keep an eye out for bleeding or severe pain which may or may not be accompanied by pain in your shoulder or arm (this can also be a sign of an ectopic).
I don't think mild cramping is much to worry about though.
