anyone here have kidney stones?

I was just diagnosed with them today. I have been having lots of pain, with it getting worse and worse, and keeping me up, or waking me up at night. I have been popping advil and complaining to hubby that my chair at work must not be ergonomically correct, and finally just got so fed up with the pain, that I went to the doctor. He did a good check over, dipped my urine and said he is confident that it is what it is. He says if it gets worse to come in (or hospital) and if it isn't better in a couple weeks, I will have to get an u/s and get them taken out. What does that entail? Anyone know...kind of worried. Has anyone have it just go away???

Oh had them.

You have to pee them out... Fun. The reason they'll u/s you is sometimes they can be too big to be peed out.

Drink as much cranberry juice as you can, and also try lemon water ( water with lemon juice)
