Wow! Small world. I'm in Teddington, and have also put myself down for Kingston.... and I'm just about coming up to 6 weeks too!
All goes well, guess I might see you in there early March! lol

Hi Glitter1! I hope all goes well with the scan on Monday. I haven't heard from the hospital yet, but this is my first time all round, so I guess I wouldn't be expected there for another couple of months? What's your due date? According to the lovely Internet, mine is 3rd March. Let's just hope it isn't snowing like last year eh!

Lioncub - I imagine you won't have to wait too long. Hopefully they will be in touch with both us us for our 12 week scans soon. I wonder if we will have the same midwife?? Lol! According to Internet I am due 1st march lol! Will know more on Monday I guess.

Anyone else got an itchy tummy???

I'm split between London and the midlands! Wood green here, not far from you but I'm getting my care in the midlands for now but oh and I are discussing a private delivery in London. I've had private scans at my ultra baby's north London clinic "the summit" in highgate

I'm just outside of Romford (London side), abut 20 mins to Liverpool street : )

I am a bit worried actually as my closest hospital is Queens in Romford... which has been in the papers every week for the past few months for the appling maternity ward (even though its a new hospital). midwives ignoring mums, not taking pains seriously.. one poor women even died recently. My OH says 'there is no way you are going htere' but do you have a choice or do you have to go where they refer you? I am really worried. Am even considering a private midwife so I have one,. qualified person with me they might listen to.

hiya, you are not far me too :0) i delivered my first in Queens and had a really bad labour if it wasnt for queens i wouldnt be here today all you hear now days is bad stories noone ever tells good stories :0) i wouldnt worry too much but you are correct and can choose any hospital in the country. x

yeah thats what i think has happened, i dont think the papers want to hear the good stories just the bad.
