Anyone just taking Clomid this month?

I went in yesterday to see my RE & was frustrated. I didn't ovulate last month so my IUI was a waste. I couldn't get an answer to as why I might not ovulate. He just asked me if I was stressed out. He said its rare taking clomid and the Hcg shot to not ovulate. I pressed for a possible reason & he didn't have one. He gave me 3 options another IUI using shots or clomid or IVF. I went on to say that I have a new job & will the shots take less time? Yes
Then I go to gal that gives RX she says it's 3 more visits than doing Clomid. I then have them ask doc to increase my RX to 150 3 50 mg a day of Clomid. This way less time away from work. I just started this job in Feb & we need it so I'd like to space out my doc visits a little.

I'm almost thinking of just timing intercourse & taking Meds b/c Meds are $8 at Walmart & saving my $$$ for another session with new RE.

Has anyone just done. Clomid & timed intercourse? I get more info here than my docs! This process is so crazy!

My Dr had me do 6 months of clomid and timed intercourse, she said its worked for some patients in the past.. But it didn't for me. I think my DHs swimmers aren't getting there and that's the problem. It is cheap though so totally worth trying, I hope your DH's swimmers get there!

Thank you! $8 for both Clomid & Premarin at Walmart versus $$$100's of dollars I gotta give it a go I know b/c I'm 40 but it's pretty expensive & stressful.
To keep going. Back to the RE
Especially since I have been naturally trying for so long. Kinda wished I had gone to Doc sooner.

Do you have a ovulation predictor kit that you like better than others? That's pretty big part of this is perfect timing.

How long have you been TTC?

I like the OPKs from target (up and up brand) you can get 20 strips for like $15 so it's pretty cheap to test every day
