Anyone know if I canhire a maitai/similar carrier?

Hey girlies,

I was wondering if there was anywhere who would hire out maitai's or babyhawk/similar carrier? I've got my holiday in September and thought it might be quite useful instead of using a buggy all the time as its a beachy holiday - buggys and sand...ermm...lol

But I cant afford to buy one and I'm not convinced I would use it at home enough to warrent spending 60 odd quid on one.

I've brought a babyhawk from there but they do rent them too.

Thanks - I had a look but by the time I've hired it, paid for postage, paid a deposist I might have well bought one!

Have a look on fsot boards (natural mamas or the yahoo group UK babywearing swap) to see if you can get a preloved one in your price range.

My local slingmeet does 1 month hires from their sling library for a fiver. It's worth checking if you have one near you.

Hi, I had a look but they don't seem to have a local (as in 70mile radius) recently. Everything was from early last year! But thanks though! I'll pop up a post just in case!
