OK, I was super hungry during the first trimester, no vomiting and my doctor told me to stop doing any heavy housework/chores (which was my main workout) so I put on about 14-15 lbs by my 14th week.
Now I can control myself a bit better food-wise and I am getting slightly more active so I was wondering if it would be OK to actually lose a little bit or at least not gain for a while (=as long as I can slightly control my insatiable hunger ).
I was fairly thin before (so I need to go back, there's no budget for new clothes :nope:) and my skin is not elastic at all and I already have stretch marks all over, I don't need any more. So I would prefer it if I could only gain around 25-30lbs total.
Did anyone lose weight in the second trimester?

Im 20 weeks and have only put on 7lb the whole pregnancy. Been stuck at this weight for a few weeks. Midwife doesn't seem worried though x

As long as your loosing weight through exercise and healthy eating there shouldn't be a problem at all, baby's still getting everything it needs from the healthy grub if anything benefiting more and exercise in pregnancy is supposed to make for an easier labour, I lost 1 stone when I was pregnant with my son that was from weighing myself for my first visit and I didn't weight myself again until I was about 25 weeks ish x

I did the same in the first trimester but have noticed since i'm no longer stuffing myself and am also going swimming again, walking more due to higher energy - the weight has actually just started to drop on its own. I'm not doing anything like portion control etc. I would rather not lose and just maintain tbh but - eh, i'm sure it all evens out in the end :)

I haven't gained anything at all this whole pregnancy. I'm still -2 from what I lost the first trimester. But I wouldn't have gone out of my way to do it. As long as your doctor is happy with your progress and baby's development that's all that matters.
