Anyone LTTTC #1 3 years+? I'm looking for a buddy

Tulip, glad to have you on board! I understand the sister thing. My sister-in-law ( like my sister) has been with her current boyfriend since thanksgiving and she is pregnant already!! I had a mini melt down when I found out. It just seems so unfair!! I've been married 4y7m and I can't even get a BFP.. yet... uh huh!!

Feisty~ thank you for the encouragement!! I had my post-o appointment today. He confirmed ovulation and I requested Femara for my next cycle ( if no BFP). He said he didn't mind, whatever I wanted to try.. Lol! So it least it's something different, and hopefully it will help with cervical mucus. I hope you catch that egg and get your BFP!!! Keep up the BD!!! ;)

Hi to the new ladies on this tread been offline a few days so catching up. Sorry to hear of your struggles and please to hear that some of you are finally getting some answers and can hopefully work towards finally getting that BFP! I can feel a baby boom in 2014.

I feel you with the family members getting pregnant, my brother girlfriend is due is April. They have been together all of 5 mins before she got pregnant, already has a son that she cant be bothered with, they are up to their eyes in debt with no where to live. How does that work???? I've had to become numb to all pregnancy announcements its like a maternity ward where I work so I am surrounded by it, I felt like I was constantly sad and crying which really doesn't help my stress levels which I think contributes to my high FSH. My new years resolution was to only surround myself with positive thoughts and energy, I took myself off Facebook and ditching the people that give me negative energy and so far it seems to be working.

Been doing OPK the last few days and I am due to ovulate nothing yet but I am now going away for 4 days without the OH, I really hope it holds off until I get back.

How's everyone else doing? Hope you all have a good weekend :flower:

I too have taken a vow to be more positive :) I'm a naturally stressed person, and DH has a lot of complex health issues which do not help, but I also know that being stressed is going to achieve nothing! I just need to keep reminding myself of that.

My BIL got together with his gf about 2 months after our first loss, they are a few years younger than us and I am literally panicking that they will fall pregnant before us. It would just be so unfair, life just seems to come easily to them and I don't think I can cope if she delivers MIL first grandchild :(

My SIL is having my MIL's first grand baby.. I wanted so badly to be the first..I was gutted when I found out, but I'm better now. It actually took off the pressure of everyone watching me so closely, waiting for an announcement. All eyes are on her, which believe it or not has turned out to be nice..

Wantabby -glad to hear you are able to enjoy your SIL pregnancy with her I wish I could do the same but mine isnt the nicest person. Lets hope she can support you when your time comes.

Feisty - loving the positive attitude I think life is always going to throw us challenges so we need to make the most of it. Sorry to hear your OH has health issues, wishing him well.

So, I got a positive on my opk today how typical cos I am not going to see the OH until tues night now. Anyone think it's still worth BDing??

Hey ladies, we've been ttc for just over 4 years. I have made loads of friends on here and pretty much all but two are either pregnant or have their baby.

I have cycle issues after coming off the pill and was diagnosed with pcos and IR. I had an early just 7 months after coming off the pill. I lost some weight and managed to get my cycle regular, finally managed to get another bfp in may 2013 only to lose it at 8 weeks. About two weeks ago was our EDD so still feeling a little raw. My cycles been a bit off since the mc.

Dh and I started a diet three weeks ago and i've lost 9lb so far.

I am so sorry for your loss Hun :hugs: due dates are always really hard :(

Well done on the weight loss Hun :)

I wish I could be thankful for sil if we are put in that situation - but I just don't think I could.

AF got me late this evening, so on to another cycle. This will be my first month with Femera. Hopefully it will do the trick!!

wantababy I'm so sorry, fingers crossed the femera works!

Well I'm just waiting for ovulation to be confirmed - my temps have been a bit wacky and although I usually ovulate CD17 like clockwork, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Has anyone read the fertility diet?

Welcome to the gang :hugs:

Wannabe, it's a diet where you only eat organic vegan and you stay away from toxins or foods that can affect your fertility. Whilst boosting your diet with natural fertility foods.

It is said to work in almost all unexplained infertility cases, decrease the risk of miscarriage, and cut down on birth defects.

I got the book and really want to try, but the foods are so expensive and the diet is hard if you're a food lover like me :(

That does sound tough. We recently started a healthier eating/calorie controlled diet and whilst losing weight we do find its more expensive.

How long are you meant to try it for before you reasonably can expect to get your bfp?

Wannabe - so sorry to hear about your MC and I hope your cycle regulate soon. Well done on the weight loss.

Wantabby - Sorry the AF showed her ugly face and good luck with the femera

Feisty - any sign of ovulation yet? I still have a faint line today so thinking of jumping on the OH once I get home tonight. I am sure I have missed it this month now but suppose its still worth a try.

I am not sure I can do the fertility diet either, I am lady who enjoys her food too much.

Thanks ladies!! Hopefully this will be our month! For some reason I feel confident about it!! Maybe it is the change up in my meds. I feel more proactive about ttc in a weird way. This past month I did something like the fertility diet. No sugar, white flour, meat, or tea (black) I drank green tea though.. It didn't seem to help, but everyone is different. I think I will still try to cut out most of my sugar and no processed food for me. (It grosses me out.)

Hi there can I join? have been ttc#1 since early 2011 with no bfp ever. These days I feel its never gonna happen:cry:

Hi Anne :hugs:

Wantabby its great to have some positivity for a cycle. Hopefully the new meds will be just what you need.

. I'm feeling positive about this year for us. Ironically for us the month we got our bfp we weren't even trying, my friend had recently told me she was pregnant but was considering termination and my nephew was due, so i didn't have enough energy to think about ttc. Once we lost the baby I thought i was coping but was terrified to have sex in case we got pregnant again. My body was playing up too, so this month is our first back on the ttc wagon.

:hugs: I know it's hard, but try to be positive :flower: I always try to think of all the things I am thankful for. Have you been tested yet?

wannabe, the last time we fell pregnant it was a shock, as we weren't actually trying that month.

Re: the fertility diet, it takes months for the toxins to leave your body, so I wouldn't expect miracles, it's something for the long haul.

I still think I ovulated cd17 (as normal) but FF is not agreeing, still no sign

Welcome Anne I think we're all with you on feeling like it's never gonna happen but I have a good feeling about this too, I truly hope all our hard work will finally pay off soon.

Feisty, I think we know how bodies better than any tests, hope you managed to get some BD done in time.

Feisty Thanks for those words. You have been through a very tough time too. Yes, I have been tested. Was diagnosed with blocked tubes in early 2012. A lap in April'12 helped open it but was again diagnosed with a uterine infection for which I was on medication for 6 months. Thereafter an HSG report showed tubes are open. Went through 4 failed cycles of IUI last year. DH is perfectly fine. So we are currently unexplained. I'm doing IVF now. I start down regging tomorrow. So nervous and excited. What's your plan of action now?
