Anyone on Bedrest?

I have a complete central previa that started bleeding at 33w6d (2 weeks ago). I went to the hospital and was admitted on bedrest. The bleeding stopped and so far I just have brown clots and brown spotting. I was scheduled for an amnio yeesterday and a c-section today but the amnio showed that's Noah's lungs were too immature. They say now that I have to wait 2 more weeks. So now I'm stuck at the hospital for 2 MORE weeks. I will have been here for over a month by time he's born. The only way they will deliver me any sooner is if I start to have another active bleed.

Anyone else on bedrest? This really sucks!

I've been on bedrest for about 10 weeks now (and have about 10-11 weeks to go until c-section), but at least it is in the comfort of my home. Sure, I get bored doing nothing and feel completely hopeless 99.9% of the time, but it still beats taking the bedrest in hospital.

Completely feel for you hun. But, you're almost there and before you know it you LO will be here.

also on bedrest here in my home, its not that bad i got another 14 weeks to go and it will be all worth it once my LO arrives healthy and term

I was on bed rest with my Justus however the second I started bleeding I went to the hospital and I had my Justus 45 minutes later!! I too had placenta previa but my placenta ruptered and thus the reason for delivering!! Do you know if maybe you have a placenta abruption or maybe a tear in your placenta?? It seems to me that bleeding would make them deliver you! I only bled once for about 10 seconds. It gushed out then was gone and I still delivered?? Keep us posted please!!

I sympathis - I did 6 1/2 weeks on bed rest in april/may 2009. Hubby brought me a net book and dongle - it was the only thing that kept me sane. I really hope that all goes well for you and baby xx
