I went to my OB this morning and he put me on Nifedipine to stop my contractions. I did a NFST and my contractions were 2-3 min. apart and LO's heart rate went up with each one (166ish). I was just curious if this will completely stop my contractions, or if I will still have minor ones.
And for those of you who are on medication, how did it or do you think it will affect labor? These are probably some questions that I should have asked when I was in his office, but they didn't dawn on me to ask.
FYI-he didn't put me on bedrest or restrict my activity because I am only .5cm dialated.
