Anyone one else having a hard time conceiving baby#3?

We are trying for our third baby and we've been trying since April 2010. I got pregnant with my other 2 the first month. But after baby #2 I got an IUD (without hormones) put in and had it taken out in March 2010. Does anyone think the IUD has anything to do with it taking longer this time?

About 4 months....It just seems its NOT working....grrrr.....I know that honestly isn't as long as some have been but its still seeming nearly impossible now....I am praying that this month is mine as well as everyone else in our shoes Goodluck and keep me posted I see our CD are only a couple days off....I can't wait until testing time...if my DH will let me buy more LOL I'm completely out and using OPK's right now I hope they last that long!!!!

yep on month 8 ttc#3 but didn't have iud have pcos instead!

I wish I was ttc #3 lol, DH and I can't even seem to get #1 started >.< lol

Thanks all that replied. Up until this month i used OPK's and read about fertility all the time. But this month i've been a lot more laid back about it, I'm not doing anything but having intercourse every other day. No Reading or OPK's. I really hope that being more relaxed will help me out!!

Hi everyone,

I am in a similar position. I have 2 children and had no problem getting pregnant with either. We have been trying for baby #3 though for nearly a year now but with no success and for no obvious reason. Apart from being a bit older, nothing has really changed for us and all we can do is keep trying. It's hard but I hope that it will happen for us again one day. Fingers crossed for all you ladies too.
