Anyone out there PCOS with NO period at all....

Is there anyone who, like me, has no af at all? its been 8 months, Im wondering if I'm the only one?!

Hey, since October I have had one, in January, then some spotting in march but nothing since then, but it feels like af will never come again lol. So not as long as you but still just as frustrating!

I was going ages without a period, but then my doctor started me on metformin for the PCOS. Within 10 days of starting that my finally came!

I could go ten months without a period as my longest. I finally got fed up with waiting for AF so I went to my ob and then my FS and got put on drugs to induce my period. It helps b/c most doc's say you need at least three a year. Sometimes it can help get your periods to come regularly as well afterwards.

I occasionally have a period, from Jan to march - nothing, April half a day if that, missed May and AF arrived June. I havent properly been diagnosed with PCOS yet, but i had an USS which showed multiple follicles, so im having another scan next wednesday. My Dr wasnt going to refer to me to anyone until i pushed as she did a blood test one month which showed i was ovulating, but to be honest, i think that was a one off. Weve been trying for over a year and im feeling quite depressed about it now, im so desperate to have a child of my own. I hope the Gyn will tell me some good news next wed

I was the same, nothing for over a year then started taking metformin and it seems to be kicking something into working!

hey there, I went a year with out one!!! I was then put on metformin and another drug and now I am currently experiancing my first one in a year!!

I was irregular and told to lose weight as before I gained my weight I had them regularly.. Nov 29, 2010 I started Atkins for weight loss and let me tell you 2 days before that I was spotting a dark old period and that went on until Day 3 of Atkins at which time I started a BRIGHT RED Normal AF and got one every month my last was April and I did get a faint positive on an Answer Lab Strip test but then it was negative every time after that and has been since and still no AF could be that I fell off Atkins on Easter and haven't been faithfully and fully recommitted to Atkins yet but it's coming up!

thanks for all replies, I think I will try and limit carbs and continue with Agnus Castus and see how I get on xx
