Anyone sent anything England - Jersey?

Just as title says really. Anyone know how much it is to post a box (2kg, 33cm, 33cm, 18cm) by royal mail? Or a cheap courier from England to Jersey?
We had a parcel to post but cheapest courier we can find is £30!! OHs taking it to post office tomo to ask but thought id ask on here by the off chance first. x

Hey, I've not sent from England to jersey, but I live in jersey so have sent the other way around! Don't think it actually costs anymore than it would to another part of the uk! Sorry can't give an exact prices, the most I've paid is probably £5? It normally arrives from England pretty quickly too! X

Thankyou. OH took to PO and it was £7.15. ALOT better than the £30+ asked for on P2G! Think thats the first time the RM has been cheaper for anything. lol xx
