We are 18+1 and we still have a couple of friends that we haven't told. We have been telling friends as we meet them, but this one particular couple we haven't told yet, even though we met her for dinner last month. She even stayed the night with us coz her husband was out of the country that weekend and she was afraid to stay alone.
But we have just been avoiding telling her in particular (we have no problem telling her husband, but haven't told just coz she would then know).
Another couple who are also pregnant and a month ahead of us told the couple the news. This lady just argues about everything. When we met for dinner last month, the pregnant friend said she was feeling flutters and the doctor confirmed they were kicks, but this lady argued that the flutters cannot be kicks, but rather the nerve pain. She argued so much that my pregnant friend started doubting whether she was really feeling kicks or if it was all just imagined in her head.
So, you can imagine why we have avoided telling this couple we are pregnant, even though we have met in person a few times already since we became pregnant.
In 2 weeks we're having our 20 week scan and also my birthday. I am finally starting to show a little (at that stage where my belly just looks fat). We are planning on inviting everyone for dinner and telling all our friends who still don't know the news yet at that time. I just have no idea how I'm going to stand this lady though. She just gets on my nerves these days. If she opens her mouth, its for an argument.
