Hi all

I read something about ladies taking baby aspirin to increase their chances - anyone have any experience of this? I don't want to start taking more drugs for no good reason but if it may help, I'm all over it!

Thanks, Hopes.

I read somewhere yesterday that it can increase blood flow to ovaries, help with follicle growth and help with implantation. I've been considering taking it myself.

I read something similar but I'm already 7DPO and so I don't know if I've left it too late? X

Sorry for coming over, i had 2 early m/c this year, started taking low dose aspirin right after my second m/c and got my bfp a month later. i'll be 23 weeks tomorrow, and i really believe it helped. i took it together with vitamin B6 complex too. hope this helps xx

I took baby aprin for 2 of my IUIs and am currently taking it for my IVF. Got a BFP on one IUI but it was a chemical. In both the IUIs the doc put me on it post ovulation, but for the IVF I am on it from CD3. Its a tiny pill and has no side effects if taken for short duration. I would take it even if there is no scientific evidence that it helps. Its just one more and a very mild one at that.

Cheers!!

Thanks ladies, if I don't conceive this month I'm on it! I would start now but I think it's too late to make adifference really?

All the best to you all, hope you all get your BFP's v quickly.

I take baby Aspirin as I have quite clotty/heavy periods. Its said to help with this and implantation.

^^ a very low dose of aspirin, the type you can give to a very young child (don't dare to say baby bc i forgot the minimum age)

i was prescribed baby aspirin 75mg for 2 weeks after embryo transfer,
along with progesteron caps, some extra jabs of hcg (don't wish that upon anyone)
and a very low dose of valium.

aspirin is to get a good blood flow to your uterus
progesteron to form a thick lining
the hcg to trick the body into pregnancy mode
valium to relax my womb (it's a muscle relaxant) so it wasn't contracting (also had the awesome side effect that i slept like a rose)
