anyone taking clomid for irregular/long cycles?

Hi ladies, I know there is that HUGE clomid thread but it would take awhile to look for this info so I am asking separately.

I am wondering if anyone took clomid to regulate your cycles and how that worked out for you. My cycles range from 35-52 days long and my DR said I could try clomid to regulate and shorten my cycle, although he said I didn't have to because I ovulate and have a normal LP. He said it doesn't improve egg quality, just jump starts the egg sooner and can cause multiple eggs to drop. Did anyone have success with clomid regulating and shortening their cycle? Please share with me!!

Definitely. My cycle was up 72 days and now it is pretty consistent. I also take progesterone though. Once my blood tests come up negative, I stop taking the progesterone and my AF arrives a few days later. My cycle is now around 35 days long. Good luck!

I have irreg periods too.. Anytime from 33-45 days.. This is myfirst cycle of clomid too...I don't ovol on my own... So let's see if clomid helps..

Clomid definitely helped my cycles! I was having cycles lasting up to 6 months. I took provera for the first month I started clomid in November. Since then, my periods have been a consistent 32 days. It's been wonderful!
