Anyone tested out the dilation line theory?

I just looked out of curiosity and if the theory is correct I'm pretty sure I should have my baby within the hour! As it is I'm not even in labour, and my MW said baby hasn't engaged yet. Has it been accurate for anyone?

I'd never heard of it, would be interesting to find out the accuracy of the study.

Yes! I read about it on here last pregnancy and checked, I didn't have the line (well I had a pink line, but not purple like I read it should be). A couple of day later I started having contractions and I got my DH to check an take a picture (which he thought was gross...) and I had the line, I got checked that day and was dilated in correlation with the line. I was very surprised because I assumed it was an old wives tale but for me it did seem to be true.

i have never heard of this but just looked onine and seem that alot of people do use this as an indicator!!! now i know what to check when i get closerto my due date
