I'm 37 and have a 2 year old (after having four early miscarriages), we are more WTT than TTC and still aren't 100% sure (after all the losses and having a very spirited and clingy two year old, I'm not sure where we'd get the time for the baby!). We have a few months before a possible recurrent miscarriage clinic appointment so I was wondering about trying co-enzyme q10 for improved egg health. Has anyone tried it? I'm getting a little worried about my age as I was 34 last time around, preferably we'd wait a bit longer.

Hi, I had a miscarriage at 37 and the OB guessed it was due to chromosomes because of my age. So I took ubiquinol (the active form of coq-10) to try to boost my egg health. Ubiquinol is more expensive but if you Google you'll see it works better. Anyway, my last 2 pregnancies have been perfect. I did the cell free DNA test for peace of mind and no abnormalities. And I'm 40 so I was high risk for defects. I can't say 100% that it was the ubiquinol but I'm definitely a believer. It's advised to start it 3 cycles before TTC to improve egg quality.
Good luck!

My partner takes it got sperm motility x

Thanks ladies, I have an appointment date for February so I'm going to try it.

My fertility specialist has recommended it along with DHEA. Still waiting to try for number 2, so no proven success, but it's worth a try.
