Hi me again, has anyone used colief for a baby with colic? Wondered if anyone found it had made any difference to the evening screaming and pain?
x

we used it and for us it was a miracle!!! started it one evening and the next evening no screaming! i hope it works for u too x

Seemed to work for us too, he settled down and only cries now when he has bad bum wind haha. But other than that he is like a new baby, Im afraid to take him off it though in case he goes back to the way he was.

Wow, you ladies can't imagine how much you have lifted my spirits saying that! I am going to start it tomorrow, I know it might not work for my LO but just the thought that it might help wil get me through tonights screaming. It's so heartbreaking isn't it? At what age did you start you babies on the colief and what were their symtoms before use? Kitty screams in the morning and then is reasonably good all day, although a little fussy and fights her bottles quite often, but in the evening come 7pm onwards its like all hell has broken loose, its just terrible and she seems in so much discomfort. Then at around 10-11pm it stops and she is such a good liitle girl through the night, just waking taking her feeds and going back down again with no fuss...but in the morning the pain seems to return and it starts all over again, this has been about 2 weeks now x

Izzy started the screaming about 5 days after she was born, it was generally about 4/5pm until midnight or there abouts. It is totally awful seeing them in so much distress and not being able to do anything. I really do hope it works for u x

oh and u can buy it in the chemists first time, and then some docs will do it on prescription, saves paying the £10!! (my doc never did, so we paid the £10, but worth every penny!)

poor you and your poor baby , from 5 days! That wasn't very kind of your doc to leave you paying for it, it's a disgrace really when you think of the pain and distress that these babies are in and they don't think they should receive a presription?? Kitty has been quite calm tonight...so far, no idea why as it has been night after night for 2 weeks, still going to the chemist tomorrow and the night is young so not counting my chickens yet. Thanks so much for answer x
