Anyone used this kind of pill?

Went for an early scan yesturday.. and turns out we were pregnant with identical twins.. one weak and one strong.. the weak had died about one week ago.. and it brought the strong one down.. who died a few days ago.. She said it is a missed miscarriage.. we didnt expect this at all. I had some bleeding around week 5 and the dr. said it was nothing to worry about.

I do believe that everything happens for a reason.. and suppose we will start trying again in three months.

I have a question.. is there anyone who used the pill that you insert vaginally.. my dr tells me it is going to hurt.. but I was just wondering about how bad.. I do not want to do a d+c unless I have too.. and it doesnt look like mother nature is going to do anything (i have no bleeding and no cramps at all.. )

I know this is a terrible time.. as many of you have gone through this.. but I am ready to try again.. and hope things go better next time! Good luck everyone.

I'm so sorry for you loss.

I did not use the pill, my doctor did not recomment it, she said it was really hard on the body and the woman emotionally.My body also was not going to let go naturally so, I went with a D&C and glad I did. I guess its a personal choice, I really didn't want to feel the pain of a MC, so going to sleep and waking up later was the best thing for.

Me too. Ive had 2 d&c's and they have both been a godsend to me as i could go from waiting around and knowing i was carrying my dead baby...it was quick, easy and i felt tons better after. I could never do it naturally after the hell ive gone through..i didint wanna see it ect. Besides, for me personally, i had terrible contractions- so no, its not for me.

BUT everyone is different..you have to chose whats best for you, hun!

im so sorry for your loss, its a terrible thing to go through.

i had the "Pill" in december, i had a mmc and was given 3 options, the d&c, to let it happen naturally or the pill. i found this the best one for me, they gave me a tablet on the thursday and had to go back in on the saturday for the vaginal tablets, i didn't have any pain just a few cramps (i was expecting to have really bad pains) which i coped with.

ive had the tablet i had it on a tue was ment to go back in thursday but ended up going in on the wednesday night! i had contratcions all night and by nine was in alot of pain so was given pethadine! once i had passed everything the pain went straight away! i still think the pill was the best idea for me even though i had alot of pian and pressure!

thanks sophxx - this helps.. i have a feeling im going to be in lots of pain.. im starting the pill thursday night at 6pm.. then will take it at 10pm.. 2am.. and 6am.. and then hopefully everything will be over by friday night. Fingers crossed.

I felt the best choice for me was the pill. My DH actually had to do it for me as I just could not do it myself. It was not all too painful, and the mass was gone over night. It felt like really bad cramps and when it finally passed I had no pain again. Just be prepared to have to flush the toilet....That was really hard for me.

I already told my husband he was going to have to do it.. I couldnt.. that's my baby.. you know. I was given the same 3 choices.. and I felt the pill was best for me as well. About how long did it take and when did you start using the pill. Im so scared the pill is going to fall out or something.. then what do i do..

I started using the pill as soon as I got it filled. He put one in and just gently shoved it till it could not go any more, by the 2nd one I had already started to bleed so needless to say it was kinda gross I went to bed and woke up in the middle of the night curled in a ball I could not and did not want to move. But I finally got enough courage and went to the bathroom where it all came out. I stared in the bowl for at least an hour crying my eyes out, DH woke up and didn't know what to do for me. I still had to insert the pill till they were all gone, but after the clot comes out there was no more pain. Just the pain in my heart. I bled for like 2-3 weeks after, just like a period. I hope this helps you!
