As the title says really. We have been using colief for the last couple of weeks, but it's not really to get wind up is it? So today we have gave Charlie a little bit of gripewater to see if it'll help. The HV told me I shouldn't use them together, but I know I've seen people on BnB using a combination of colief with gripewater/infacol. Just want some reassurance that it's ok to use both! Thanks.

We used colief with gripewater and harriet got very frequent loose dirty nappies and did not help with winding her. Even as little as 1ml once in 24 hours caused the problem.

I have been using infacol and gripe water together for the last couple of days and Megan is fine, I was kinda hoping for a loose nappy mind you as the gaviscon the doc gave her made her really constipated and I had to take her off it!

Give it a couple of days and the runny nappies will come!!! Know what you mean about the gaviscon - Charlie was on it for a while and his poos were like paste!!!

We tried everything going with Ellie and my HV said we can use all together, i used Colief, Infacol and gripe water all together. It seems to help for a VERY short while (but like they say all babies are different)
The best thing I ever did was change onto the comfort milk, within a few day all stmptoms had gone and it was like I had a new baby. I have since changed her back onto normal milk and she has been brilliant.

Charlie had a milk change already from prescription (high calorie for low birth weight) to normal aptamil. I'm so wary to change his milk again now that we've got him relativley happy - despite spending an eternity winding him!

That's almost identical to me! I have been using infacol for daytime feeds and the past few days gripewater of a night to help her with her wind as it seems to be worse in the evening, i also have to give ruby gaviscon before every feed because she has reflux, poor baby lol xx

:hugs:

Wind ruled the first 4 months of having H.

We used colief and gripewater (after 4 weeks) infacol/dentinox seemed to really upset her and give her pain for some reason.

She's BF and didnt have anything like gaviscon... I avoided it just because so many people seemed to be using it with no positive effects.

It can be really hard finding the right approach for your baby. We used lots of tummy massage and warm baths, cycling legs and as much bouncing and activity as possible. Raise cot, side then front sleeping... hoping you find your way to a comfy baby :flower:
