anyone waiting to put up their decs?

I never put up my decorations until 12 days before Christmas and I always take them down within the 12 days after Christmas. Anyone else waiting to put them up?

Why do you suppose it's 12 days anyway?

I usually put the tree up when I find time. Now, be it before the 25th! lol Most people I know of traditionally go for after Thanksgiving (American holiday). However, I have seen lights up on houses.

i always put mine up on or as near to the 13th as possible

its my Mums birthday on the 13th and its 12 days before so we made it a tradition to do that and since she died all the family still do it
