anyone who have gone into labour after sweep?

so monday is my DD and my mw has agreed to give me a sweep instead of waiting the week after due to spd although she thinks i may go before that but has anyone had a sweep and then gone into labour and how long after?

i had sweep due date.
i had baby 3days later.
i was told sweep prob wouldn't work as my cervix was so tight could only get in a finger tip.
but think it helped.

hope same happens for me,, iv never had to have a sweep with my 1st i had him on the day my sweep was booked & with my second had him 2 days after dd, hopefully this lil man comes this week before the sweeps due x

I'd like to know this too! I had mine this morning and midwife said it was a really good sweep I'm hoping soooo much that something happens tonight or tomorrow. Good luck to you! Do you have a date for induction? x

Mine didn't with my son but I wish I'd had a follow up one 48 hours later but mw wouldn't do it as due to be induced not ling after. I've got mine booked for Monday too and this mw said she will do one 48 hours later if it doesn't work.
