I have some nausea throughout the day, but it is bearable, but as soon as 6 or 7pm hits, I feel the room start to spin and get super dizzy and nauseated. Last night I threw up 5 times before going to bed and I'm worried because my pre-natal vitamin was probably in that.

I have a hard time sleeping because of this and then wake up feeling like crap for work!

Am I weird for getting more sick at night? Anyone else with these symptoms?

I am the totally opposite. Mine hits in the morning and last throughout the whole day and calms down towards bedtime. It is so miserable although I haven't thrown up yet just came very close a few times.

thank you! I guess everyone is different and even though it's completely miserable for me too, I think I'd be more worried if I was getting no symptoms...

i'm just over 7 weeks so hopefully it only lasts a few more weeks.

I turn 5 weeks tomorrow and mine just started kicking in a few days ago and it is only at night. I will feel on and off nausea during the day but when it gets to be around 7pm I start to get really nauseated and dizzy. Luckily I can go lay down in bed for the night but I found it weird that it is stronger at night then in the morning.

I have all day nausea, but typically only vomit in the middle of the night, with the exception of this morning. Same with my DD, I'd wake up out of nowhere and vomit :( everyone's different, guess its all how our bodies deal with all these wild hormones! Hang in there :hugs:

"morning" sickness can hit anytime! I am 5 weeks 5 days along and I tend to get mine 4:30am-7am but nauseous all day. My doctor recommended I take zofran at night to help with this. It was helped TREMENDOUSLY! I am still up at this time to pee but I haven't thrown up. I do continue to throw up when brushing my teeth every morning, but thats my fault for not taking my zofran in the am like the doctor suggested. I will start doing that tomorrow I just wanted to see if I could go without!

Make sure you are eating lots of small meals. And by meals I really mean snacks! Also, chewing gum has helped me, however I can only stand the mint kind. Any other flavor doesn't help my nauseousness.

Good luck!

Also, my doctor said morning sickness can be a good sign. It proves your hormones levels are high which is GOOD!

i am just coming 5 weeks and i have felt sick since 12dpo, and its always at night, it hits me right before dinner so i only eat a child portion, what i do is have a light meal for lunch and take my prenantal then xx

With DD I had horrible sickness that lasted all day and only got better towards night.

With this pregnancy i feel nauseous through the day, though I've only vomited twice, but I usually feel ill worse at night. Every pregnancy is different. :)

thanks ladies, your comments made me feel better!! Trying to get a prescription for zofran so I can hold down some food at night.

all i want to do is eat toast with cheese whiz lol

This is how my morning sickness started around 51/2 - 6 weeks. It would hit at before bed and keep me up most of the night. It was so uncomfortable!

I found that eating before bed or during the night sometimes helped. Smoothies were especially helpful.

Fortunately my night sickness has gone away but has been replaced with day sickness lol

Hope you get some relief soon! xox

Mine is general after I eat for a couple of hours. It started about 4 weeks and only hit in the evening meal. Now its more or less every meal, except last night. I think I slept more yesterday though

Me .. mines starts at lunchtime gets worse at tea time.... im not worth a button xx

I feel sick all day! Whoever came up with the term "morning sickness" is full of it lol

I tend to feel worse after eating, or if I let myself get hungry. I find if I keep myself completely still I feel a bit better, but I'm counting down the days until this passes!

Mine starts right after lunch and it goes downhill from there :( I never actually throw up, although I've come close quite a few times... sometimes I think I'd feel better if I did. Its much worse right after I eat, but its bad if I don't eat too! :dohh: After dinner I'm a wreck until I can finally lie down for the night... Although yesterday I felt a bit better, I'm wondering if the 9-wk charm thing is kicking in now! Fxd!
xx

I'm 10+2 and also have all day sickness! It usually peaks around 9-11am I'm fine in the afternoon and then hits me again around 5pm and later on at bedtime. Today is a particularly bad day so far after having 4 days of nothing at all!

Mine is the exact same! It's impossible to focus at work in the afternoon and I try so hard not to throw up after dinner because I don't want to lose my vitamin. Hopefully it stays away for you, keep me posted!! I've heard it peaks at weeks 8 & 9 so I am scared!
