Anyone writing a dissertation this year?

I'm just starting to think about mine now and doing some reading and what not. It seems so scary though, like a never ending piece of work. I kinda feel like i'll never get there. I'm hoping to get it done a bit earlier than the deadline in April so I can start looking for full time work in March.......even more scary stuff

Anyone else about to start one?

Me! I'm stressing about a dissertation too! I really want to get as much research done over the summer, except I'll be working/ have kids off school etc.

From experience of mine... Do a lot of research.. Read around your subject as much as you can, even if you don't think you'll use it..gaining different points of view can be immensely helpful.

If a phrase or sentence comes to you, write it down before you forget... I was amazes by how many of them I used in one form or another.

Don't panic, it'll come easier than you think and you'll probably end up having too many words!!!
