anyone..

Just wondering... what is the big deal?? I've always washed all our clothing together and we are all using tide-free... I decided since she needed the tide free we may as well use it too so when we are handling her our clothing wont bother her either...

Its just my thing I like to do! seems most people do the same. some do, some dont.

I wash all of max's clothes separate as I use hypoallergenic for his :)

:saywhat: nope, it all goes in togeather but in batches of whites, light colours, dark colours and black and denims go in togeather.

With my lot (I have 4 kids) I need to put the washer on everyday and it wouldn't be energy/cost efficient to wash baby's clothes seperately as it would take ages to get a complete load to put in the wash:dohh:. Anyway it makes no sense to wash them seperately...what do you think will happen if you wash babies clothes with yours??? After all they're being "washed" so will all be clean...I just don't get it:nope::shrug:

I thought I had some OCD tendencies but this thread has baffled me:dohh::rofl:

It takes 3-4 days max for us to get a load together for Hannah, blankets, towels, bibs etc. it all adds up to a pretty good size load twice a week

for me I just don't like separating her stuff after it's washed, it's tiny and gets caught in other clothes etc. I'd rather wash hers together because they don't get caught up in our clothes

Agreed Vickie :).Plus I just think its more hygenic than washing them with our underwear and socks and things just my opinion x

I usually wash Brookes stuff seperatley if theres enough for a pretty full load, if there are 2 or 3 little bits and its not enough for a load i will put them in with our clothes. I use Fairy non bio for all of our washing.

Main reason is i wash her clothes seperatley is because i use the easycare cycle, whereas ours get blasted on the regular one.

I do it all together i use fairy non bio for all of us. I have loads and loads of washing i dont want to make more for myself!

I wash separate with fairy non bio, the rest of us lump it with Morrisons yellow box cheapsake washing powder.

OK.... For anyone who uses hypoallergenic on babies stuff, and reg or cheap on your own... You do realise that the baby is touching YOUR clothing... right?? My mom had to buy hypoallergenic wash too because every time Jasmine was held by her etc she would get a rash.

To me, pee is pee... poo is pooh... and it ALL gets washed away with the detergent... There is no question about "hygenic" reasons etc. lol

The only reason I dont go mad with the fairy non bio for the rest of us is theres simply soo much washing to do per week thanks to a 14 yr old girlie who seems to change outfits at least 4 times a day it would cost a fortune in the stuff!
Sam isnt presenting with any irritated skin, but I use it for his since it keeps his little things and bedding uber soft and I dont have to boil the life out of them.

Same here.

If there is enough of her clothes for a full load I wash them separately (which there usually is now that she is weaned ) and if there are a few pieces then I wash them with mine.

I use a different detergent and softener and wash them on an easycare cycle.

I wash Aidan's clothes seperate. We use fairy for all washing though.
There is always a full load of his stuff anyway. I just find it easier to wash his clothes by themselves. He has his own washing basket too!!

I wash Jason's things seperate, mainly because his stuff is all lights and I don't want it ruined by the rest of the families clothes. The only thing of his that manages to get into our wash is his denim and if he has anything red.

I keep all of Danny's stuff separate. I have to drive 20 minutes to the laundromat so it doesn't get done till he has a full load anyway. It probably sounds really dumb but I'm trying to keep control of his socks! He doesn't have that many for random ones to go missing.

i used to wash separately with different detergents but now i do all of it together with fairy non bio. i love the smell
