Ugh, so after what seems like the 10,000th appointment, I STILL dont have a bun in my oven. 
I went in today for MORE blood work to check my estradiol levels, and a vaginal ultrasound to check my follicles and my uterine lining. The lining is thickening, and they only found about 7 follicles. They want to see more. Because I dont ovulate with clomid until about day 21, they said this was typical. Also typical, was the amount of cysts on my ovaries. I have never been able to look at it (or at least, I never KNEW what I was looking at, it was never explained to me until I started with the RE), and HOLY CYSTS! It looked like a moon with too many craters. I am on Cycle day 11, and I have to go back for MORE bloodwork and ANOTHER ultrasound on Thursday. Yippie.
We are hoping to see more follicles.
I must say, this whole secondary infertility pisses me off. I mean really, I had my son at 18...not planned...no problem getting pregnant...We werent trying, but obviously we werent preventing...and poof, baby appears...Now, 6 1/2 years later (well, 5 years later when we started) we cant make sperm meet egg...How is it that people who dont want to have kids get pregnant sooooo easily, and those who really want it, cant have it? Just not fair...ok rant done...
