I have another appointment tomorrow with the DR. I am really really nervous because I want him to give me a lap. I have to try and convince him this is a good idea. He just wants me to "keep trying" and I think that there is more than just "low progesterone" at this point. I had low progesterone with my daughter (they said I didn't even ovaulate) but I still managed to conceive and have her. So, what gives??? Why 26 mths, with three m/c WHILE on Clomid and progesterone supplements. It just doesn't add up, right??? So...if only I can convince him. Just to rule things out.

It doesnt add up hun & must be very frustrating!!!! Demand a lap,and say you need it for piece of mind!
Good luck
xx

Good luck hun... I am also very close to demanding a LAP as i have been begging and pleading now since last year JUNE and they see no need:hissy::hissy::hissy:......

Question: do you take your progesterone daily or only after O... I am on TABS (postoval) also progesterone tabs but i drink mine daily... and from Tab 1-7 it is AF tabs, Then 8-20 it is progesterone and no clue what the orange tabs are for.....??????

Good luck hun. It definitely doesn't add up. Be strong and make sure you are listened to. Hope it goes ok xx

Hi Jasmak.

I went to my consultant in July last year to see if he could do a lap but he declined and said that 'it was too expensive on the NHS and that there was too much of a risk invoved'. He is such a control freek though! I walked out crying cos he said that he wouldn't give me a 'comfort' operation just cos I wanted it!

I walked out in tears. I went to my dr's and asked her to refer me to another hospital, which she did. Saw another consultant and he agreed to do the lap which I had done in Dec just gone. Like you too, I just wanted to rule things out. All our test results were ok and so unexplained infertility. I thought that it was so mean of him to refuse just because I as the patient was telling him what I wanted. In the end the results were all normal, no endo clear tubes etc. But I think it is so important to make sure that this is so.

I would definately go ahead and ask him, If it were me doing it again asking the first consultant I would have pandered to his ego and hint and suggest that I have this done as aparently just asking got his back up

I'm sure that they will agree and if not try another one but don't let them push you around, sometimes our instincts tell us what we need to do!
