appointment with gynecologist

I went to see a gynecologist today, after having my second miscarriage. He has ordered two different tests. A saline infusion sonogram and an endometrial biopsy. Hopefully they can find an answer for us? I'm super excited that he has ordered these tests for us........but am unsure of what to expect. Anyone else been through these?

Sorry Im of no help.. .. but I hope that they do find something.. no one deserves to go through this even once.. and you have been through it twice..

Hey todteach, I'm sorry that you had to go through 2 miscarriages, i know what its like, i've been through 3 so far...I don't know much about the SIS or the endometrial biopsy, but i did look it up..This is the website i found it on, just if you want to read up on, if you haven't already..Well i'm happy for you that your gyno is doing these test now for you..Keep us updated hun!!

No advice, I'm afraid, as in the uk they only investigate after 3 mc's. Just wanted to wish you the best of luck

Thanks for the info hun Although it doesn't look all that pleasant, I can't wait........if that makes any sense to you? I'm just wondering if they recommend that you bring someone to drive home, as my hubby will prob be at work.....I'll have to bother my mom

Thanks hun. My doctor has told me that they will do some investigating, but not genetics testing until three. I'm so sorry to hear that they won't look into anything for you before this in the uk. Sending you xox

Can't help sorry. I've been tested recently but have no idea what they are actually testing me for. All I know is I've been poked and prodded and had a whole lot of blood taken. I hope you get good news x
