Edit: Adding some of Ollie :)
The last one is him refusing to sit down haha. Hes figured out that he can stand if someone holds him either under the armpits or by the hips and he sticks his arms out to balance!
Quite a bit of a pain if youre trying to sit him in his pram... he straightens his legs so he stands! grrr haha :P Cute though.

Ahh cottles - they made me laugh - the one with the bike helmet!!!! How adorable!!

Gem your Ollie is such a cutie - understand about the standing!! Looks a strong little boy :)

i have such a smart girl! as soon as i walked in to pick up abby, she said momma clear as day (shes been saying it for 2-3 weeks thought it was nothing til today). her sitter said that if her daughter said momma, abby would start crying like she knew what it was. (she's not the first to say they think she's saying momma) 2nd cute thing? i picked up my sitters daughter and abby started to cry, tears and all! i know it's awful to love that my daughter already has jelly belly's but i think it's too cute! :cloud9:

Such cute pictures!!!
That's awesome Dana! Go Abby!! Rosie did. Partial sign for mom and I got excited... most says dada

is on the verge of tears realizing i never got a bump pic passed 35 weeks..

hello hormones, how are you?

Gem, his hair is getting a bit lighter yeah. It was so dark to start with, then tons fell out and the regrowth is lighter brown... More like my colour now.

Aw Dana :hugs: I wish I had no pics at all of me after 35 weeks. I bloated and swelled up all over. I had such s puffy face, so all in my birthday pics (at 39 weeks) I looked awful. :(

Ollie attempting to sit :P (Sorry its sideways :S)

I looked at bump pics I have from the night before I went in (so 2 days before Rosie was born) I as huge. My belly looked miserable. Lol. Sorry you guys don't have them. I find mine embarrassing but I am happy I have them.
Rosieonly woke once between 9and 7:30. I hope she starts sleeping better again. Not sure if this was all from getting her vaccines though. Poor girl has been miserable for days! Ww19anyone lol

Adorable pics everyone, thanks for sharing!!

Last night was not a good one. She took the amazing 3 hour nap during the day but we paid the price in the evening. Started to put her to sleep around 11 and she would nod off than wake kicking and fussing. Settle her again and it would start over. Fed her again and repeat. DH tried turning on the vacuum which usually settles her when we're desperate but it didn't work. Finally she passes out around 1 am and I had to be up at 6, DH at 7. So we're both walking zombies. A least I don't have to work tomorrow, poor DH.

Not sure what to do if that happens again. He wants to put her in crib and let her cry it out which I'm not really opposed to, but I think we have to agree on a limit of how long we'll let her go and i would prefer to go in and put my hand on her back to comfort her a bit when she fusses (not pick her up though). Guess we'll have that discussion tonight.

gorgeous pics everyone and video gem!

alex is sitting like that now too, its so cute!

hope you get a better nights sleep bernia, i feel so sorry for you girls who have to work and get up at night. Alex was up 4 times last night and no way could i function to work today! xx

Isis did something very similar last night. I gave her a bath around 7 and then started putting her down. She would start to drop off and then wouldn't settle when I put her down. I tried nursing her in bed figuring I could move her later if she fell asleep there. Usually as soon as she goes in our bed she's asleep but she was still fighting and crying at the breast. I tried letting her self-sooth (in my arms) with sucking on her fingers, giving her a pacifier, nursing etc. Nothing worked. She had tylenol earlier so she didn't need any of that. I finally just put her in her bed with a pacifier and tagged out with DH. He put the pacifier in a couple times and then we ended up letting her cry a little. She wasn't in full cry she would just let out a short cry several times. When I decided I couldn't handle her cries, she stopped and was asleep. I would say about 2 minutes of fussing/shouting. She slept until 12:30 then woke again at 3:30. I brought her to bed for cuddles at 6. I don't know what's going on! WW19 10 days early? This is 2 nights in a row that my easy to put down baby has fought sleep!

The only bump pictures I have were taken in the L&D room.

Loving the baby pics/videos!

Poppy had her 16 week jabs today and has been grizzly all day she won't sleep think she's had a grand total on about 40 mins since 9am. She's been really good after all her other jabs but maybe having 3 took her over the edge shes not running a temp but has a wacking bruise on her leg from on of the jabs so given her some Calpol invade that's causing her any pain add to that her teething and that's my day lol!

I'm pretty lucky night sleep wise poppy goes down about half 7 asleep by about 8 and goes through til about 7. I have the odd night where she wakes at 5 playing but usually goes back off within half hr.

Aleena slept 10 hours last night and she only woke twice , not to eat but to cry :( , one time at around 3am lasting a few minutes and when she was done she fell right asleep. The other around 5 and only lasting a min or so, so I feel pretty rested. She's been sleeping well after her 3 month growth spurt & 4 month sleep regression.
It's great!

Ugh I need the motivation to get up and do the dishes but Rosie is asleep in bed win me and she's cuddling my boob :P she almost made it up on all 4s earlier. Ysterday I swear she said Nuggy which is the name of our dog. We always let her pet the dog and say "is that your nuggy" and the dog walked up to her and sniffed her and got Rosie excited and she made a noise that sounds just like nuggy. Silly baby lives her fur sister

Danielle I think Isis and Lizzie are conspiring!! I sure can't handle many more nights like that and she gets her 4 mo shots tomorrow, ugh!!

DH and I discussed setting a strategy together on how we want to handle when this happens. This way we'll be on the same page when the time comes. We dont really care so much where she sleeps but instead how she sleeps (and in turn us). I'll be more prepared tonight to let her fuss and cry, last night I just wanted her to sleep any way possible since I had to be up early.

Question for the nursin moms. Are you taking fenugreek and if so what dosage? I've been drinking nursing tea twice a day when I pump but am getting sick of the taste.

Crazy babies! This not going down started the day before she got her shots so I know it's not only that. I also think that she may have really bad gas due to me eating tons of cucumbers from the garden lately. I've quit eating them but I still have to feed her the milk I pumped while I was eating them.
Last night we didn't leave her to cry for long and she went to sleep. I don't know if it's because we had been trying for so long and she was tired or if that would have worked earlier.
I go to feed her at lunch and found out she's been sleeping all morning! I had to wake her to feed her! I keep saying I can't take another night like last night but somehow I continue to make it.

I don't take any supplements for milk supply. I can't donate my milk if I do. I seem to have enough milk without them.

I almost am relieved when Amelia wakes in the night as my boobs are so engorged, and the times I have pumped are the times she suddenly wakes up to jnd not much milkavailable! I leak through bras constantly , drives me mad!

alex is asleep and its only 9pm!!! :happydance:, I have time to myself! AND I managed to get him to take 7oz via a bottle (big achievement!). Fx'ed for a good night as he was up 4 times last night between midnight and 7am (dohh).

Bernia, I don't take anything either hun. What makes you think you need to? your supply is most likely nicely good by now.

Jakes, I have the same problem! sooo annoying waking all soggy! I have to keep a towel by the bed to put under me to save the mattress a bit :dohh:
