Aptamil comfort and Dr Brown bottles?

Hi
We've decided to try Erin on the Aptamil comfort (she was on Aptamil 1), do I need to change the teats from the stage 1 teats we've been using until now?
Don't want to buy lots of new ones if I don't need to but will also need to go 40 odd miles to get them so want to get the right ones, especially in this crappy weather!

Yeah you will need to change the teats as the comfort will block them xxx

I dont know as i dont use those bottles, i use TT CTN and i use the vari flow teats? Do Dr Browns have those?? xx

Dr Browns don't do variflow, just 1,2 and 3. If you're using 1 now then you'll most likely need a 2 with comfort as it's thicker. TBH it might be worth picking up a couple of 3's too, seeing as it's a long trip. You'll need them sooner or later, but possibly sooner with the formula you'll be using.

Hi , I have changed my little girl to comfort last week and we had to change to DR Brown Level 2 teats. You could try and ,ake your teats bigger yuself maybe with a warm needle? lol never tried it myself but I know some people have. Kiddicare sell them if it would be easier getting them delivered, Mine came the next day

I ordered a couple of level 3's, but haven't needed them yet, but hamdy to have just in case for sure

I am moving my LO to aptamil comfort, as she has silent relux... I wondered which teats to use?

Did you all find 'no 2' ok?

Hi, we use the Dr Brown level 2 teats without any problems but I also bought some of Boots own brand variflo teats (wide necked ones) and they are fine, bit cheaper too!

I use cow and gate comfort with the stage 1 teats and its been fine.

Yup, we are using Aptamil Comfort/Dr Brown's bottles and find that the level 2 teats work fine.

She has had her 1st feed of 'aptamil comfort' in a 'dr browns' bottle with a level 2 teat & she took it really well (slow, but well & she seemed comfortable, so thats the main thing )
