Iv just changed to this milk about a week ago now and everything seems to be fine except the last 2 days LO has been sicking up a clear liquid..its like a bile instead of actual sick..just wondering if any of your LO's get the same thing?xx

hiya! my lo, and so did my friends lo, did this all the time on comfort milk, i can't tell u why it happens but i was told it was normal, it really woried me the first times he did it though x x x

ahh thankyou so much for your reply really put my mind at rest!
also if you leave the milk in the bottle for a while have you noticed it seperates?the bottom half of the milk goes green and the top half stays like milk?x

just shake it up. You also need to make sure you make it with hot water, otherwise it doesnt 'activate' and work properly x

i always make it with hot but its quite long in the night time feeds to do this :(
My LO screams for her bottle soo mcuh that by the time the kettle is boiled shes nearly going blue in the face and loosing her breath!x

have you tried making the night time bottles up before bed, storing them in the fridge then warming them up when you need them? Its alot quicker to warm a bottle than it is to cool one down xxx

i havnt actually done it this way before because soo many people have told me not to store them in the fridge but to be honest i dont really think there is a right way of doing things anymore..the only right way seems to be making them up fresh each time lol but my mum used to make mine n my sisters feeds up and store them and so did everyone else back in them days and nothing was wrong with us but they just change the guidelines whenever it suits them i think lol x

as long as you dont put them in the door, where it isnt cold enough, and put them at the back of the fridge it shouldnt be a problem. Guidelines are exactly that, guidelines, not rules set in stone. You have to find what suits you. Even if you only do it for night time feeds, your LO wont get so stressed out waiting for a bottle. But its up to you of course :) x

Yes my little one does the same and she is on Aptamil Comfort. Mine also separates.. I just shake it well before feeding xx

It says you're not supposed to keep made up milk for more than 2 hrs but that is so not practical. I keep warm water in a flask at night and make up the feeds if I need them. I also use the little Tommee Tippee pots for powder so I have it all measured out ready.
