What are the rules/guidlines for this? Do you have to change at 6 months? is it when they are on 3 meals a day? Has anyone just stuck with the normal or hungry baby milk?

I've been told by two HV and a peadiatrician that follow on milk is a waste of time. They said they're fine to stick to their stage 1 or 2 xx

You can switch any time from 6 months if you want, but there is no need to. You should also bear in mind that follow on milk tends not to be as filling as hungry baby, so if that's what you're using it's probably better to either stay as you are or wait until they are cutting down on formula.

Ok thanks girls, i didn't know if we had to change! Think i will stick to the one we are using x

does it not have more iron in it? i don't know; i thought it did which was why i was going to switch but i wont bother if it's not necessary.

It does have more iron in it, but as your LO has a varied diet going forward they will get extra iron from that.
