Are there any Canadian ladies?

Another Albertan! Went off the pill in August 2010 when we got married but nothing yet. 3 days from testing but not feeling it this month.

Lol I guess I'm the only Quebecois! Haha. I got off the pill October 2009. Nothing yet

I'm from Winterpeg and Kelowna. Born in Kelowna, grew up in Wpg, went back to Kelowna in 93 until 2008 and now I'm in Wpg again. It's just cheaper to live here. I miss BC so much!

Hey Ladies I'm from Saskatchewan! BUT just a mere 20 km form the Alberta Boarder:)
My husband and I have been TTC #1 since February 4th, 2011 ( our wedding night) My cycles have been super irregular for the last 10 months and im currently on CD 54... My Doctor up and moved in January and her replacements start date has been pushed back 4 times already. I'm feeling pretty low today :(

Hey, I used to be canadian. Im orginally from ontario, just out side of toronto. But Recently moved to the U.S to be with my hubby :)

Hello my fellow canadians!! I am from Prince George, BC. Anybody else out there from up north here?

Cool! I still have fam & friends there so try to visit often enough - but with my ttc this year, not sure if it will happen. Last place I lived was Springfield and Burtch. Was the computer geek at The UPS Store on Dilworth for 7 years. I miss the Okanagan, but I think if I moved back to BC it would be to Penticton, Salmon Arm or the Island. :D Winnipeg's winters suck (especially for me who is not used to winter), but it's a great city and I have a really incredible job now and life is good. I don't think I would have been able to even THINK about being a Single Mom By Choice if I still lived in BC. The resources just aren't there to help out.

deejhaya (love that name btw), have you checked out fertilityfriend? They have some great tutorials on there.

Still waiting to ovulate over here! Thank goodness because my DH was so into the election, I'm not sure how much BD'ing would have been going on!

How's it going Canadian ladies?

So, I've lost 14 pounds since Mar 1 (I'm "preheating my oven") and I'm thrilled about it but it caused me to have delayed ovulation this month. I usually O on cd16,17, or 18 but this month it was cd23! So, I'm waiitng for AF to show up (in about 3 days) and the cramps have already started a couple of days ago! Must have a doozie of a corpus luteum! Not looking forward to the weekend now!

On a happier note: my first appointment at the fertility specialist is on Monday! :happydance: Can't wait to get this ball rolling and be on my way to having a baby! It feels like forever since I made the decision to do this last summer! Woo hoo!

Hope everyone is well! xo

Congratulations on the 14 lbs! That's awesome! You're giving me some motivation, I really need to lose 10.

How long did you wait in Winnipeg to see a FS? It took nearly 8 months just to get in to see a Gyne in Edmonton!

I asked my GP for a referral beginning of November and I got a letter from the clinic in January with my date and info about my appointments. So, generally about the same as you I guess! It may sound weird, but I'm actually glad it didn't happen really fast. I might have gotten freaked out!

I just hope my body cooperates and I get AF today or tomorrow. My temp is still up though so not sure. The silver lining about having a wacky cycle this month is that Monday is supposed to be cd3 so really they could do some good testing on cd3 (fsh for one). And I really don't want to go in there with photocopies of my charts saying "well, since August I've been very regular... but this month I ovulated a week late and my period's not here yet either". :dohh:

Happy Friday!!
