Absolutely! Unlike a lot of ladies, I don't spend time hanging out with "girlfriends" because I'd just much rather be with my husband, who is also my best friend. I tell him things that I would never tell any other friend, and he just knows me on a level that no one ever has before.

Yes, absolutely. We were friends for about 7 years before we decided to finally risk dating. It was the best risk I ever took.

I am so absolutely in love with my husband. I know I've said it before here, but I'm disabled, and he does the cooking/cleaning/waking up at night for feeds, and pretty much everything. If I'm hungry for something, and we don't have it, he'll run to the store to get it. It's honestly like his goal is just to make me happy. I love him so much, and would be lost in life without him. He's an incredible father. He loves our son so much, and spends SO much time with him. He plays with him, sings to him, puts him to sleep, bathes him.

That's why when I read posts about women in bad relationships, I just want to scream that there are absolutely amazing men out there--loving, caring, giving, kind men who know how to love.

I feel kind of bad saying no. But the truth is, I love him with my whole heart but we have nothing in common. lol. We're like the perfect example of opposites attracting. I'm into sci-fi, rock, artsy stuff. He's more of a "smokey and the bandit", country, serious kind of person. I would say my mom is my best friend.

Im the same as you hun.. if we wernt married we wouldnt be friends. not bestfriends anyway as we woould be in completly different groups im more girly watch movies hes more hunting sci fi etc. but i do love him though. my mums my bestfriend too. and i have one other bestfriend and i for sure couldnt marry her lol ( if she was a boy) because were toooo alike.

Yes he is absolutely my best friend. We got together at uni aged 18 and I feel like we've grown up together. My friends think I'm weird but I really don't need anyone else and never feel like I need a 'break' from him which a lot of my friends seem to with their partners (weekends away with the girls etc - I find that a little odd). We live and work together and obviously we have our moments but very few considering we're together 24/7.

Absolutely. Weve been togethet since 16 & 17 he is the one person i trust more than anything i really couldnt be without him!! Hes a amazing daddy and husband i really couldnt wish for better im very lucky!!

Yes he was one of my closest friends for 8 years before we got together. He still is my best mate. If we broke up, well I'd kill him, but I could remember him fondly as my best mate

Yes, my OH is my best friend. I really enjoy his company and love being with him, he never fails to make me smile. I'm completely besotted with him, he knows how to make me feel like a teenager all over again Nearly 3 years on and I can't keep my hands off him, everyday is like the first time we got together ... It does knock some people sick as I speak very highly about him and I'm not ashamed to express how much he means to me. To us, we are soul mates

My OH is 100% my best friend. Theres no one else i'd rather spend time with, we always have so much fun together. He's just everything to me, we share everything and do everything we can to make the other one happy. I'm closer to him than I ever have been with my other 'best friends' in the past. Oh geez, I love my OH and we are great friends as well as partners but I wouldn't say he is my best friend? I dunno I have a lot of really good friends and old friends who are like siblings to me, not sure if anyone can ever compare to them! I have no idea if we would be friends if we weren't a couple though as we have pretty separate friendship groups and only really started talking because we were attracted to each other! We are very similar though. Except I have much better taste in music.

I would say i hae 2 best friends one male and one female. I share most things with both of them, I would walk in front of traffic for them. I wouldnt for my husband.

Same. My OH is the only person who knows the honest to god full on me. My friends know the parts of me I let them see. And we've been that way with each other since we met. In fact he says what made me sure he wanted to go out with me is because I chose a pub to have a meal in for our first date and ordered a steak and a pint of larger haha. I also turned up in jeans and trainers. Haha. I've just always been comfortable with him ever since we met x
