ARGH Doctors so annoying

when i last went for a test they said oh yeah they are fine, i was like ok so does that mean pos or neg which one to me fine would mean pos but obviously they were dense ,unfortunately it was neg but hey laways this month

Back from doctors

My progesterone levels 34 and Lutheal is 10 (which he said is ok because that should peak mid cycle anywhere upto 70 and we were not testing mid cycle we were testing cd21) That bit confused me??

But because my levels are 34 he said that suggests i am ovulating
so that must mean i am ovulationg mid cycle around day 14 doesnt it??

Anyway he has given me a number for my other half to ring to arrange to go and get a full sperm count done. He said he should do that first and then depending on results of that he will send me for scan to make sure non of my tubes are blocked.

All docs are different so dont stress hunny

Iv got a docs app tonight aswell!! to ask for my OH to have a SA and if they can do anymore for me!!

Awh I'm glad urs come back good!

I just got back with OH from the docs, went really well! They gave him is cup to dtd in! Lol so he's just got to ring up and arrange a time to drop of ... The doc also said that if it all comes back ok aswell then she will refer us on to a FS! Abit excited that it's all going to happen!

hehe, I was borderline/low on almost all my progesterone tests (except the last one), so hitting that mark at all, then exceeding it is fabulous in my book!

Well, I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant... and Friday would be our 1 year anniversary of TTC, so it took almost a year, and that was WITH medical help for most of it (clomid to get my progesterone higher etc).

I had 4 rounds of clomid at 50mg and 2 natural cycles... had low progesterone on 4 of those cycles (didn't test the first 2 clomid). Upped the clomid dose, finally got a normal progesterone level and got my BFP.
Had 2 suspected chemical pgs in those 6 prior cycles, possibly lost due to low progesterone as I was already spotting when I started to get lines on tests.
So for me, progesterone level was a HUGE factor in my TTC issues. I was always jealous of the lovely numbers like yours !

Its nice reading stories like your though, that even when there is issues they can be sorted and you can get that good news at the end of it.

this is our 10th cycle and maybe starting cycle 11 today/tomorrow.

AF due today/tomorrow because i have been having 27/28 cycles. mainly 27 days.

Not sure is there is any issue or its just taking ages to catch the eggy, my husband has just got the number to ring so he can go and get his sperm count done to check he is ok. My doctor said after he has had that done, they will send me for a scan to check my tubes not blocked.

Good luck! I know I kept wondering if DH's sperm was to blame, lol... he was fine though. And the HSG that checks your tubes actually boosts your fertility (I had mine done on the cycle I got my BFP so hey, who knows, right?)
