Off the back of the news article about the Mum with 3 sets of frats there is this article that talks about the odds of twins in the UK.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22813345

This question gets asked a lot on here and there is some information about the effects of height, weight and age on twinning and also interestingly, the time of year you conceive might have an effect also!

But in summary (in the UK):
- You have a 112-1 chance of spontaenous frats.
- If you already have one set of frats then you have a 28-1 chance of having frats again.

So having one set really does improve your chances! :flower:

To conceive twins:
- Have a BMI >30
- Grow taller than 164cm (tricky )
- Conceive after the age of 35 (better yet 45!)
- Conceive in the summer/autumn
