Asda have their Newborn Arrivals Nappies for just £1 for 44!

How many size 1s do you think we will get through? We have 1 pack of huggies newborn but rest size 2 pampers as there is an overlap in weight. Want to try these but would I end up using them? Not sure how many a breastfed newborn will get through? Any advice ladies x x

I, from memory got through about 8-10 a day with my first baby. I think she was in first size 6 weeks or so. She weighed 7lbs 13oz when born.

This same offer was on about 16 months or so ago (in fact it was packs of the 48 little angels nappies for £1) I got them for my daughter and they are good.

We went through 400 size 1 nappies - Lo was 6 lb 15 oz, so I plan to have around 400 stocked up........about 10 packs then!!! You lot better get to the shops before I get there if you want there to be some left!!

Oh, yes, there is an overlap with all the sizes, we managed to go almost from size 1 to size 3 (overlap is mainly in sizes 2-3)

brilliant! Will only pick up 1 pack as have size ones already, but for that price I dont really mind if I dont use them all lol. And having a chunky bubba atm so there is the poss that they wont last...but cant really say no for that price eh? x

I went in on Thursday night and they had sold out, went back in Friday morning and took 4 packs - felt guilty taking any more as there were only the bare minimum put out. It's a great idea, all new born nappies should be that cheap then atleast we will get to know which style of nappies we like and suit the shape of our babies.

I got 4 packs at the weekend, so thanks for the heads up. My husband said 'but what if you have a baby that weighs more than 11lbs?' to which i replied if it weighs more than that the size of nappies will be the last thing on my mind!!!! LOL.
