Hi ladies I am usually on TTC after a loss thread but I'm desperate for some information an thought maybe one of you lovely ladies my have experienced ashermans syndrome or know anything about it. I lost my baby girl at 36 wks pregnant due to placenta abruption and she was born sleeping. 3 wks after this had d&c due to retained placenta. After my consultation I was sent for scan and was told lining of womb doesn't look " normal" I have always suffered from pelvic pain. So concerned about this. It's been 10 wks since d&c and no period but horrendous period pains and slight spotting. So worried about this and think I may have ashermans. Has any1 experienced ashermans and what would my next step be. I feel as though I'm being pushed further and further away from my rainbow baby. I'm sorry if I've offended anyone my coming on this forum but didn't know where to turn to :( xxx

Sorry, I don't belong in this forum either, but I thought I'd answer you..(I thought I'd be in this forum, but got my BFP on clomid right before I hit the 12 month mark)..

A friend of mine did have asherman's syndrome. She had a D&C after a miscarriage at 7 weeks. She ended up having two surgeries, and it seems like her lining is now fixed, although still on the thin side. Her lining does seem to be getting thicker from cycle to cycle.

I would recommend that you see your doctor..good luck! I hope everything works out for you.

don't apologise hon - is fine to ask questions in here....Im afraid I don't know anything about ashermans though xx
