ASL vs. Baby sign?

Is anyone teaching American sign languae (ASL) specifically vs. a form of baby sign? OH and i have talked about it and decided that we will be teaching a form of signing based on ASL as we were both quite fluent when we were children/young adults and we feel that it's a good stepup for her for later in life. As well we will be taking classes to refresh ourselves

We also found a daycare provider who runs a ASL daycare who signs and speaks everything all day. I acutally went to high school with her.
