I had a c-section 6 days ago. This was not planned and I find I was terribly uneducated about what to expect. My swelling was quite significant and it seems to slowly be decreasing. I'm concerned because one side is much more swollen than the other. At first I attributed this to sitting position, etc. after waiting an entire day- there's no doubt. One leg/ankle/foot is really swollen compared to the other. Is this normal?

You should call your OB. The leg swelling could be something as insignificant as water rentention or it could be something more serious like a blood clot. The swelling at the incision could also be normal or it could be an infection. Its better to be safe than sorry. Give the Dr a call. I've had 3 c sections and several other surgeries. Please go get checked. Good luck! :hugs:
