Brand new member here! Hello to all! :flower:

I just recently went through my first IVF cycle. We were expecting a good number of follicles and my ultrasound only showed 2! Then during egg retrieval, only one egg was retrieved. Our one little miracle fertilized though! And then continued to split, until reaching blastocyst stage. I had my 5 day transfer on Monday June 30th. I'm dyinggggggggg over here. I'm so desperate to find out! I go back for a blood test on July 14th, and it already feels like I've been waiting foreverrrrrr!!!!!

So my question is, has anyone taken an at home pregnancy test before your blood test? If so, how many days after transfer? Positive results? False positives? False negatives?

Thanks!!

I haven't personally but I see women on here ALL THE TIME testing from 9dpo or in other words, 4dp5dt. Id say u could possibly get a positive at 9dpo but for better results, test around 10-12dpo with first response early result and that should give u an early answer. You could even test at 8dpo but its just more common from 9dpo on. Good luck and I have everything crossed for you!!! IVF will be our next step if I cant unblock my only tube naturally but I have a feeling that I will truly get it unblocked! I'm so grateful for the natural ways to fix my tube cuz I know the docs in the US would never think this stuff would work! But in more advanced countries such a Germany & Asia, they are actually proven to work and work often! I'm excited. But At least me and my dh are both more than willing to do IVF, we just cant afford it is all. Anyway, got off track lol. Im very excited about my treatment right now. But your chances of getting a positive before the blood test on 14dpo are VERY high. Good luck again!!!
